HISTORY
Sunlight Residential Homes, founded in 1996 by Simon Kottoor, MSW, strives to exceed foster care standards by providing exceptional care. Since then, it has served 25,000 children in Arizona, offering stability, support, and a nurturing environment.

HELPING CHILDREN
Sunlight Residential Homes cares for over 300 children, supported by approximately 200 dedicated employees who provide daily assistance with compassion and nurturing care.

TUTORING & MENTORING
Sunlight collaborates with community agencies and local schools to provide students with the tutoring and mentoring support they need to succeed.

KEYS TO SUCCESS
At Sunlight, we celebrate and reward children for their academic achievements and dedication to improvement. Each month, those who meet success criteria receive a special catered dinner, certificates, and prizes as recognition for their hard work.

LIFE SKILLS TRAINING
Sunlight provides Independent Living Preparation for teens aged 15-18, covering personal finance, job searching, career assessment, fitness, nutrition, and college or vocational school visits. Our goal is to equip them with essential skills to navigate life successfully after foster care.

Sunlight provides a range of services to support children's healing and growth, including counseling, medication management, individualized education plans, tutoring, mentoring, family therapy, and sibling visits.
